- I liked the overall theme of the book, I liked that the author took the time to add details in the book, however I felt that unnecessary details were included more than once and I did not enjoy that there were spelling and grammar errors. Also I would like to know 1) Is the author British or American as I still, after reading the book, can’t figure out and 2) Why Tyler Spencer? something about that name is off, and why is he not the father, why did things have to get so overly complicated?- I recommend this book to..... really any girl (or boy) who likes to fantasize but knows that her fantasies are exactly that.... fantasies. This book will help her (or him) live vicariously through Cassidy.
- I chose this rating because I was disappointed that there were spelling and grammar mistakes. When it was a story on Wattpad, I understood but now that’s it’s gone to be as official as being a kindle book, I feel like the book was in desperate need of touch ups. I also felt that it had to many unnecessary details. Other than that I really liked it!

A love against All Odds teacher/student romance edition by Alexia Vella Deguara Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I really loved this book. Some teacher student romances are so unrealistic, but this book was perfect. I fell in love with Tyler, David, and Cassidy. I kind of wished that some how all three of them could have ended up together. Best book I have read this summer.
The story has a great story line. There are a lot of grammatical and spelling errors; however the book was great and worth reading.
I really enjoy teacher/student romance stories but, this one was so far fetched. There were so many spelling and grammatical errors that I wanted to stop reading. The problem with me is if I spend money on something I need to finish it. The cost of this book was way to much and it felt like it was written by a little girl. It was written in first person which I love but the MC kept saying the same thing. If I heard our eyes locked or the desire in his eyes one more time I would have screamed. What was with the school in general if the principal had suspicions he should have done something about it. The teacher Ms. Leighton was worse than a fifteen year old girl going through puberty. She knew that Tyler wanted nothing to do with her but she kept pressing him.
The book just seemed a bit much. The characters hardly developed and it pissed me off. Even though the teachers were in their twenties they acted like children. Then her best friend Lucy just disappeared by the end and we don't know what happened with her. The summary of the story seemed nice and I gave it a shot. Not a happy shopper! Maybe this was the authors first time publishing. She should have edited and edited and edited. Also she needed to fix the story line.
I know when you read it's to get lost in a different world and time. This was just to over the top!!!
Where to begin...what could be a great read is totally ruined by grammatical and formatting errors. I seriously doubt this book was every edited. Ever. Spacing, punctuation...I'm not even going to waste my time going on. It's a hot mess. I usually don't nitpick over grammar/formatting, but wow, is this bad. Totally distracting and at times painful to read.
loved this book stayed up all night just to finish it because once you turn the page and find out you like no and have to keep going . like how tyler was in love with her enough to save her and not tell her his felling until the middle of the book the have they have the problem of staying together to the point were she ends up in another man arms . all in all there is a few moments make you cry . I will read this book again and would recomend it to anyone that loves romances
MILD SPOILERS The book is a forbidden love story. Tyler, a teacher in his early 20s, falls in love with Cassidy his 17 year old student and visa versa even though she already has a boyfriend. Cassidy is a virgin and made up her mind that Tyler will be her first. Tyler wants to be her first and last. I liked Tyler. He was sweet, loyal attractive, and totally in love with Cassidy. He knows that it is wrong to love her and wants to wait until she is legal (18 years old) to be with her in an intimate way. Things happen and Tyler has to leave her. He tells her to forget about him, to move on. Eventually she does and this love interest is also forbidden. I did not have a problem with Cassidy's two relationships even though there was an age differences. She was not a child and knew what she wanted. I really loved that Tyler was faithful to her even during their separation. Of course, she could not say the same thing but I understood that she was feeling abandoned when she got with the second man. The ending while not my preferred HEA it was one I could live with. It was a HFN and I believed that things would continue to work out for her and the man she ended up with. The only reason I gave the book four stars as opposed to five stars is that the book needed an editor as there were some grammar mistakes.
This is a good story but the editing is the worst I have seen, bad grammar, I know it took place in UK but still, it was just hard to read for unfinished sentences and strange wording, but I really liked the story,
